The results are in and it is exciting news for the Australian film industry!
‘Tomorrow When The War Began‘ has ruled the Australian box office throughout its opening weekend taking in $3,863,193 in its first four days of opening. This takes the film’s total box office takings to a total of $3,898,547 including $36,354 from preview sales. Holy Shiz!!! These outstanding results have firmly cemented ‘Tomorrow When The War Began‘ as the third biggest ever opening for an Australian film. It also took over the New Zealand box office where it took a total of NSD $358,653 over the opening weekend.
The film has reached international acclaim with the Hollywood Reporter calling it “An exhilarating teen action-adventure from Down Under” while Screen International is describing it as having “all the commercial punch and power of a Hollywood blockbuster”. Mike Selwyn, Paramount Pictures Australia Managing Director said “We are particularly pleased with the strong regional and country results to go with the excellent figures in metro and city areas and we are looking forward to the word of mouth reaching out to all audiences and strong results right through into the school holidays to help set up the franchise”.
So judging by these figures it is pretty likely that this is the beginning of a solid franchise, so Stuart Beattie better get busy, because I don’t know how long the fans can wait patiently for the follow up.
Have you seen it yet?

This is truly the most bloody hilarious X Factoraudition I have ever seen. You gotta love the UK version it is so… action packed lol. Check out once best friends Abby and Lisa take to the stage for their audition, which they claim is just for fun. After a few tantrums and an appalling performance, tensions rise between the two, leading to a fist to the face. Bahahaha! Continued

Hello peeps well as many of you know Paris Hilton has gotten herself into some serious shiz of late, most recently being caught with some white powder known as cocaine. 3 times this year, tut tut tut, since there is only a certain amount of times you can point the finger at someone else, she has run out of options and is now facing possible jail time.
So to celebrate the spoilt rich kid’s wake up call, I’ve decided to run a competition. So keeping with the trashy vibe I’m giving a way a brand new copy of Paris Hilton acting her best in ‘The Hottie & the Nottie‘
“Nate moves to L.A. to track down Cristabel, the woman he’s been in love with since childhood, only to discover that his plan to woo her only has one hurdle to overcome: what to do with June, Cristabel’s ever-present, not-so-hot best friend? What’s even more complicating is Nate’s growing feelings for June, whose true beauty starts to emerge.”
Yes a Paris Hilton movie with a moral, so to enter click here!

The new iTunes social network Ping will let you connect directly with your favorite artists, but Apple’s promotional image for the new feature has conveniently left a series of tweets from the Twitter Queen’s timeline in which she protests against Proposition 8. Okay so it might be a little thing, but when you think about all the controversies Apple have faced around application censorship ie Grindr, and the direct to audience promise of both Twitter and presumably ping, it does seem a little noticeable. Apparently the company wants to have a slice but not the whole cake in regards to the world’s most out spoken pop star. Check out the censorship below! Continued

I love Rolling Stones’ picture of Chris Colfer in Kurt Hummel get up in a leather bar. It reminds me of the time I accidentally stumbled down in The Mineshaft at The Sportsman Hotel. It was quite the shock lol.
